Question Of The Week, 4/30/06

Good Morning. When I answered last weeks question I said I had a plan for this week. Well I'm not going to do it just like I planned but it's along the same lines, covers the same subject. This week's Question Of The Week is (A long one). How many of the following points are in place in the United States today?

(1) Abolition of private property.

(2) Heavy progressive income tax.

(3) Abolition to all rights of inheritance.

(4) Confiscation of property of all emigrants and rebels.

(5) A central bank.

(6) Government control of communications and transportation.

(7) Government ownership of factories and agriculture.

(8) Government control of labor.

(9) Corporate farms, regional planning.

(10) Free education for all children in government controlled schools.

I hope all of you know where those came from. I'll have something special for everyone when I post my answer in the Comment Section Monday night.

1) Abolition of private property.

Not too great. I own my own house. Except for that whole bank thing.

(2) Heavy progressive income tax.

We've got that. I think.

(3) Abolition to all rights of inheritance.

We're working on that, but not quite there.

(4) Confiscation of property of all emigrants and rebels.

No. I don't think so.

(5) A central bank.

Hmm. Probably close to it.

(6) Government control of communications and transportation.

VIA regulations, but not total.

(7) Government ownership of factories and agriculture.

If you count that which is owned by our "representatives," but they're just our fellow citizens...right?

(8) Government control of labor.

Via regulation, and, um, turning a blind eye to all that silly "illegal" stuff.

(9) Corporate farms, regional planning.

We DEFINITELY have that. Not totally exclusively, but we get closer every day.

(10) Free education for all children in government controlled schools.

Not all children are in government schools, but yes...

I don't recognize it perse, but lemme guess....

Communist manifesto?

I think this is going to be one of those 10 for 10 deals or 0 for 0 deals based on certain technicalities.

I can find away to say they are all in place, but I'm having a hard time with all emigrants property being confiscated. Although it would fall within number one.

Stephanie, let me ask you this. Do you own your house when you have to pay property tax on it forever? No, you are renting it from the government.

1) Abolition of private property.

You don’t actually own land, you own real estate. What is from the ground up. That is why you pay property tax and cannot go and drill for oil in your back yard.

(2) Heavy progressive income tax.

In the early 1900’s, the government had more money than they knew what to do with. Now we pay a very huge tax on our income because the government wanted more power. To have more power, they needed more money.

(3) Abolition to all rights of inheritance.

The gift tax, and the taxes on any inheritance have started this process.

(4) Confiscation of property of all emigrants and rebels.

The war on drugs has been used to take peoples property without due process under the law. I knew a woman who had her car stolen, someone left marijuana and drugs in it and when it was found, she was almost arrested and had her car taken from her.

(5) A central bank.

The Federal Reserve and our worthless paper money.

“Government is the only institution that can take a valuable commodity like paper, and make it worthless by applying ink.” Ludwig Van Moses

(6) Government control of communications and transportation.

When I was at a local radio station, I found out that all the President must do is sign an executive order and FEMA takes control of all the radio stations in the country. It would be complete martial law without anyone even Congress having any control. The TSA now controls all airports.

(7) Government ownership of factories and agriculture.

The government doesn’t own factories and agriculture in America. They just give corporate welfare to a few big corporations allowing them control the market such as with big oil companies. This has been going on since as least after the Civil War when the government gave money to Railroad companies and caused major problems when they wanted to tell the companies how to operate.

(8) Government control of labor.

Look at how much regulations one must go through to start a business. Then look at all the federal minimum wage laws. In many cities, elderly women must get a permit to sell food or the government will go in and shut down the business.

(9) Corporate farms, regional planning.

Basically the same as number seven.

(10) Free education for all children in government controlled schools.

Most children in America are stupid. They are trained that you must allow the police to search your property if they ask. America is always correct. It is nonsense to learn about Operation Northwoods, where our government planned to hijack airplanes and crash them and terrorize Americans to start a war with Cuba.

Then they are taught that they can’t pray or talk about God because they could offend someone. Under the No Child Left Behind Act, all your children’s personal informations is given to the Pentagon. Tell your schools to not give up your children’s info to the government.

A multi-part question today, and I'm exhausted from the Symposium. But I'll check back to see the comments and the update here.

As I read through the list, my first thought was "Communism."

We're well into socialism, the stepping stone to Communism, but all the points are not completely fulfilled--yet. But the inroads are present.

I'am late again. What a day . The Ten Planks Of Communism, a part of the Communist Manifesto. I think they are all pretty much in place here in the United States, close enough for government work.

(1) Get a year or two behind on your taxes and see what happens to the land you think you own.

(2)Yes and it's time for another tea party. Replace it with a Fair Tax.

(3)Federal and state estate taxes will eat up your inheritance.

(4)Add anyone suspected of drug dealing to this. If you carry to much cash on you you could get pulled over for a trafic violation and find out your a suspected drug dealer.

(5)The Federal Reserve.

(6) The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Department Of Trasportation (DOT).

(7) Not ownership but control of.Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Department Of Natural Resources (DNR)

(8)Department Of Labor

(9) See Federal, State and Local zoning laws

(10) I wouldn't call it free (taxes) but our schools are controled by the federal government.

I said I'd have something special for all of you when I posted my answer. It's the on-line version of one of my favorite little books. The Citizens Rule Book, Jury Hand Book should be required reading for all United States citizens. The print version is inexpensive and will fit in a shirt pocket. A great hand out for scout leaders. Check it out at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/7006/rulebook.html .

This simply isn't true if you know how or at least know where to find a good accountant.
