Happy April 15th

Here it is again, April 15th, a day that I have often referred to as Ben Dover (bend over) Day. This year why not get involved in fixing the federal tax system before April 15 of 2007. If you get a chance you might want to take in a movie today, Harry's War. I try to watch it this time every year. It's a comedy but it shows the IRS as it really is. A bunch of thugs.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

I despise the IRS. Taxes, I can deal with, but the IRS is unamerican. Take a flat tax at the register, with progressive refunds at the end of the year to those with less earning's than say, Bill Gates for instance. The more you made, the smaller your refund...

David, you and gun-toting liberal are both right.

Taxes are a necessary evil, but the way the IRS can excercise the law is, indeed, criminal. They are the only authority that presumes guilt and forces the burden of proof onto the accused. This is exactly the form of class structured law that the Founders had elimnated. The presumtion of innocence is at the very heart of the Constitution and the IRS tramples on it.

By the way, I know it must be tough becoming a Great-Grandfather at such an early age, but congratulations.

I agree with Stephanie that life is precious, and you are a lucky man.

Oh, well. We do our taxes in February as soon as we get all our info sent to us.
