Virgil Goode For President

I stopped by the Constitution Party's site tonight to see if they had posted anything lately. I have a feeling that their candidate for the upcoming presidential election will be Virgil Goode a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Virginia's 5th district.

While I was at the Constitution Party site I came across an article by Phyllis Schlafly Eagle Forum President that reminded me of a tee shirt an old friend once had. The writing on the shirt has even more meaning today than it did when he wore the shirt in the 90's. In bold red print it read, "Every Thing Is Made In China." Smaller red print below that said, "Including Your Future." The Schlafly article,"China Celebrates Outwitting Us in the WTO" mentions China's vaccine-producing companies that boast of their annual production capacity of nearly one billion doses and ask a frightening question. "Are parents willing to inject their kids with Chinese vaccines?" (Continue Reading) I for one pray that they are not.China is not our friend.

If we don't find a leader that can get our country back on track soon there won't be much of a future for those that come after us. Virgil Goode just might be the man we're looking for.

Senate Bill 1973 – Gun Trafficking Prevention Act of 2012

I hadn't heard of Senate Bill 1973 – Gun Trafficking Prevention Act of 2012 until this evening. Because of the bills name, Gun Trafficking Prevention Act of 2012 I thought maybe it was something to prevent something like Operation Fast & Furious from ever happening again. Seeing the names Mrs. GILLIBRAND, Mr. SCHUMER, Mr. LAUTENBERG, and Mr.
KERRY on the bill should have told me there was more to the bill than that.

After I started reading S.B. 1973 I got the feeling that it could be something to be used against the licensed firearms dealers that the BATF duped into helping them with Operation Fast & Furious now that they (the BATF) might need to lock them (the firearms dealers) away to shut them up.

The bill (if passed) will clearly give more power to the Attorney General and the BATF. The same folks that brought us Operation Fast & Furious (a criminal operation)which cost God only knows how many innocent lives. Something needs to be done to stop anything like Fast & Furious from ever happening again but S.B. 1973 isn't it. Please contact your United States Senators and urge them to oppose S.B. 1973.

Coming Soon, 2012

I got an email from my United States Representative Sam Graves (Rep. MO) this morning. Congressman Graves says there are solutions to the problems our nation is facing, "My hope for the New Year is that Congress will work together to help set the table for economic growth."

What do you expect to see come from our elected officials this coming year?

A Question From Gun Owners Of America, Why Hasn't Rick Perry Filled Out His Second Amendment Questionnaire?

Gun Owners Of America sends a Second Amendment Questionnaire out to the candidates during every presidential campaign season. GOA members and web site visitors use the results of the questionnaire when deciding witch candidate they want to be their next president. GOA Vice Chairman Tim Macy feels not returning the questionnaire was a campaign staff decision,a bad one. He's asking us to encourage Rick Perry to return the GOA questionnaire by calling 1-855-887-5627.

Updated Mr.Aaron Zelman, March 4, 1946 – December 21, 2010

One year ago today we lost a great American patriot. One that I would have been honored to have met in person had I got the chance. Mr.Aaron Zelman,
March 4, 1946 – December 21, 2010
. I'm sure he is missed by his family and friends, the people he worked with at JPFO (JEWS FOR THE PRESERVATION OF FIREARMS OWNERSHIP), it's members and supporters.Lets not spend today mourning his passing. Instead lets all figure out a way each of us can continue moving forward with his work. Tell all your friends, family members and co-workers About JPFO. Get signed up to receive JPFO Email Alerts. Share what you learn with others and try to get them involved. When you hear about an UN-constitutional bill that might be coming up to be voted on contact your elected officials and politely let them know how you feel about it. You might have to remind them of the fact that they work for you and that you'd be more than willing to see what you can do about getting them voted out of office if they don't abide by the oath they took when they were sworn in. Working together we just might be able to get our country back on the right track again.

Updated at 10:45 PM 12/21/11

I just stopped in over at the JPFO site and found out they posted "A Year Without Aaron Zelman". A must read in my opinion.

A Chanukah Greeting from Rabbi Bendory Of Jews For The Preservation Of Firearms Ownership

If you subscribe to JPFO Email Alerts you may have already read the introduction to Rabbi Bendory's Chanukah Greeting,"Chanukah is about a side of Jews that many Jews would like to evade. Learn about the pride of this Jewish celebration. Jews and Christians should think about how far they are willing to go to defend their lives and freedom.

Rabbi Bendory tells us how Chanukah should be a wake up call, as well as a time of celebration. Life is a gift from G-d, but freedom is not free."

I don't believe I can possibly be the only non-Jewish person around that finds messages from Rabbi Bendory interesting. If you have never read one please take the time to read his Chanukah Greeting.

The Poor Man’s Guide To Survival Gear

Now here's a little something a lot of folks might be able to use. We hear survivalist tell about the importance of a Bug Out Bag. The poor man learns the true mean of depression when they tell you what should be in it. Some of what you'll find in The Poor Mans Guide To Survival Gear might seem a little pricey but it's better than whats offered in a lot of other articles.
