Can We Afford Another War?

United States Representative Ron Paul says, "An attack on Iran, coupled with our continued presence in Iraq could hike gas prices to $5 or $6 per gallon." What will it cost us in Sons, Daughters, Husbands and Wives? I'm not so sure we can afford another war in this part of the world right now.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

I heard a recent estimate saying that it will cost over $800 billion before we leave Iraq. This is well past how much money we spent in Vietnam.
This war has been a major drag on our deficit and eventually it will start effecting our economy but if the events continue to unfold in Iran I think the question should be:
Can We Afford Not to Go to War?

Simply put: no.

Absolutely not. It seems, as American Crusader said, we can hardly afford to be in the war we are in.

AC,

Is that a trick question?
