Question Of The Week, 9/14/08
Good morning. The title of an announcement in my local paper got my attention, "What If You Were President" (Continue Reading). It isn't what I expected but it sounds like it might be interesting. I'm old enough to go and I'm laid off from work so the time is no problem and it's free so I can afford it. That title, "What If You Were President", just suppose you were . This weeks Question Of The Week, What would be one of your first official act's if you were elected President of the United States on November 4, 2008?
I'll post my answer in the Comment Section Tuesday morning.
God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

I feel there is a need to call for a roundtable discussion with experts from academia and business to discuss long-term sustainable measures to strengthen and consolidate U.S. hegemony without compromising core American values, nor seeking terms of appeasement with foreign ideologies and nation states and/or weakening American military might, in this new globalized century.
Were I President, I think I'd first address the energy crisis.
You know, if everyone except absolutely essential personnel stayed home for a week, we could bring down oil prices. Maybe that's simplistic, but knowing how expensive this winter's heating bill is going to be, the costs of energy are on my mind.
If the roundtable discussion ai suggests includes illegals of all ilk, and energy, I'd be for that.
AS LONG AS JOHN BOLTON was on the panel.
I'm a little sick of seeing PANELS of all liberal political correct dopes.
My first and foremost act would be to have every single operating bus in the United States seized for official use, and they'd be used to ship every single illegal immigrant I could get my hands on.
My first stops would be at Wal-Mart and every Mexican restaurant I could find, and I'd horde all of them onto these buses. I'd allow them to get their kids and a few belongings, then sell off their vehicles and any other property to help pay for the forced rental and use of these buses, then I would pay back the companies for their loss of business.
My procedure would be limited to only eight weeks, so it would be mighty busy in my area alone.
First I want to thank you for stopping by to answer this weeks question. The answers have been great and show the United States needs improvements in at least a couple of areas. I'am a little late with my answer. I'am thinking that after your laid off from work for three weeks you start losing track of time/days. This weeks Question Of The Week, What would be one of your first official act's if you were elected President of the United States on November 4, 2008? One of my first acts would be to rescind Free Trade agreements,N.A.F.T.A., C.A.F.T.A.,G.A.T.T. etc and put the country back to work.
Until about three weeks ago I hadn't looked for a job for fifteen years. For a fifty eight year old with a history of back problems finding a job is a job in it's self. I've started giving some thought to applying for disability, not something I really look forward to.
God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
My first amendments is about Climate Change and help the elderly who can afford to go Assisted living like http://assistedlivinglittlerockarkansas.com
