Question Of The Week, 6/29/08

Good morning. This has been an interesting week and it had a little surprise to go with it. "Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said she was “profoundly disappointed” that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito voted to overturn Washington, D.C.’s handgun ban." (Continue Reading) I wasn't surprised by Feinsteins being “profoundly disappointed”, I was surprised by the ruling. This weeks Question Of The Week will be a two part question. Do you support or oppose the Supreme Court ruling that overturned the D.C. handgun ban? Do you feel there will be a big push get more gun control bills passed in the next four years?

I'll post my answer in the Comment Section Tuesday morning.

I support it.

Do you feel there will be a big push get more gun control bills passed in the next four years?

Yes, because the recent SCOTUS decision leaves a lot of the regulation to individual states.

First I want to thank you for stopping by to answer this weeks question. "Do you support or oppose the Supreme Court ruling that overturned the D.C. handgun ban? Do you feel there will be a big push get more gun control bills passed in the next four years?" I support the ruling to over turn the gun ban. Yes there will be a push to get more gun control laws on the books. The push began as soon as the Supreme Court let us know about their ruling. It is up to us to protect the Constitution from the thugs in congress. With Obama or McCain in the White House we won't have a pro-Second Amendment president.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

Feinstein has a long history of pushing for tighter gun laws, dating back to the assassination of the San Francisco mayor George Moscone and supervisor Harvey Milk. Feinstein was the first to discover Milk’s body and deliver the news to the public.
