Jail Time For A Judge?

After her feeding tube was removed I figured I wouldn't be writing any more about Terri Schiavo. Then I found a NewsMax.com (www.newsmax.com) article that tells about Senate Majority Leader Bill First reaction and comments. He pointed out that a subpoena issued by Sen Mike Enzi called for Terri to appear at a March 28 congressional hearing. Law says that anyone that interferes with a subpoenaed persons testimony could face jail time. The NewsMax.com article can be found at, http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/3/19/104732.shtml

I don't know about you, but I don't feel that anyone in our political system has put themselves above the law more than some of our corrupt judges have. If judge George Greer is convicted of contempt of Congress fined and jailed it could send a message to some of the other judges who feel they are above the law.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
