Where Have I Been?

I haven't been posting as many messages or visiting as many sites as I once did because of a recent change around home. I'm now involved in Home Schooling one of our Grand Children, it is time consuming, and interesting. Since I'm not the most patient person on the face of the earth I feel a little sorry for our student at times. I hope to learn from this as I teach. Any tips/suggestions/words of encouragement or prayers you have are welcome at this time. I hope you will continue to stop by from time to time to see if I've posted anything new,(Sundays Question Of The Week will always be there even if nothing else is) and I will stop by your site as time permits.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

How could you possibly home school someone in all those subjects?

If she can't go to high school for whatever reason, doesn't the school system provide some type of home instruction? In New York if someone can't go to school because of a medical or psychiatric problem, a teacher has to go to their home and teach them there.

As a teacher of groups of homeschoolers, I understand.

Elizabeth & David,
A good curriculum, plus support groups such as the one I work for!

Here's a colorful exercise to teach children about Islam.

Can you help Uncle Mo choose the right clothes for his visit to Allah?

You can also have fun pushing Aisha's honeymoon pram.

Why do you assume that the kids are home schooled because of some need other than a desire to keep them out of the public school system?

Personally the state of New York sending someone from the same failed system is the last thing I would want for my Kids.
