What Have We Learned?

Checking the news this morning I found out that United States District Court Judge James Whittemore has refused to order the reinsertion of Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. Terri's parents have appealed the ruling to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta.

At this time I will not ask you to contact your elected officials and urge them to help save Terri. I will however ask that you continue to pray for Terri and her parents. Ask God to give them the strength they need to get through this ordeal.

I hope we have all learned one thing from the Terri Schiavo case. Tragic events like Terri's heart attack do not pull families closer together. We should all let our families know what our wishes would be if something like this happened. Please take a little time to have a living will drawn up. It could save you and your families from years of court battles.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
