In The News

Have you noticed how much news coverage the Terri Schindler Schiavo case has been receiving? Now we're hearing the good news, about how congress and the president have stepped up to the plate in her defense. Don't get me wrong, I pray for Terri and her family daily. I was very happy to hear that action had been taken to save her life. I'm concerned about what other actions congress may be taking while we are busy reading the good news about Terri. The president and some members of congress want to take action to change our Social Security System which could save or destroy it. There are bills before congress to protect firearms manufacturers from lawsuits. If they are defeated some companies could be forced to close their doors costing the country thousands of jobs. The president and some members of congress would also like to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. That could cost United States citizens their jobs and tax payers thousands of dollars to cover health cost for uninsured illegal aliens.

We shouldn't forget about Terri and her family, continue to pray for them daily. Still we must never take our eye off our congress critters. I'm not so sure they always have what is best for all of us at the top of their list of priorities.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
