Question Of The Week, 9/3/06

Good morning. If I'm not mistaken someone e-mailed me this Tom Fitton column. It starts out by asking, "What kind of President will Hillary Clinton make?" That would have made a pretty good Question Of The Week and you can answer it if you'd like but I'm going to change it just a little. This weeks Question Of The Week is. Will we see a lot of gun control legislation passed and signed if Hillary Clinton becomes our next President? I'll post my answer in the Comment Section Monday night.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

No chance will we see a lot of gun control is she becomes president.

The Republicans will dig in their heels on this social issue. It will become a great rallying cry for the GOP.

I hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend. Thanks for stopping by to answer this weeks question. I think every one of our elected officials (members of congress)that support the Second Amendment will be very busy if Hillary is elected. They will have to stop every gun control bill that comes up for a vote. Because she is going to sign every anti-gun bill that comes to her desk.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.

David: If I'm not too late, I think Hillary as president will do with guns what Bill did with smoking....start the ball rolling and make it socially 'de classe' to own firearms.

It will be "for the children' of course. Just another form of paternal fascism.

I don't think she can win a general election...she would lose to either John McCain or Giuliani. But for arguments sake, I think she would be pretty much like her husband was. I think she would try to push through a socialized medical program and once again Social Security reform would become a Democratic priority.
Honestly...anymore it seems that both parties just switch positions in most issues.
Democrats are more likely to raise taxes while Republicans are more likely to cut taxes.
I'm not sure either party believes in limited government anymore.
Big Brother is here to stay.

If you haven't, pick up Richard Poe's book "Hillary's Secret War".

Mrs. Bill Clinton would make the Fairness Doctrine look like a local garage-sale sign ordinance.

In other words: Bye-bye, most radio talk shows.
