National Reciprocity Bill

I feel that a person that has proven themself to be a law abiding citizen that is knowledgeable about the safe use of firearms which makes it possible for them to obtain a concealed carry permit in their home state should be allowed to carry their weapon concealed when visiting another state which allows law abiding citizens to do so. Representative John Hostettler (R-IN) plans to introduce legislation soon that would make it possible for someone that has a concealed carry permit in their home state to carry a concealed weapon while visiting another state that allows law abiding citizens to carry concealed weapons. To learn more about this go to, www.gunowners.org , under alerts click on National Concealed Carry Reciprocity. Here you will find an article on this soon to come legislation which contains a link you can use to send a pre-written message to your United States Representative urging him or her to support the bill.

I would like to see this legislation pass but if our elected officials would have simply abided by the United States Constitution it would not be necessary. The Second Amendment had it covered until they started passing unconstitutional laws. The Second Amendment, "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
