LOST

A few years ago I was in a restaurant with some friends, sitting in the inside seat of a booth. I made a remark about the United Nations being a good idea when it was first formed, I did say that I thought it had outlived it's purpose. The Gentleman sitting in the outside seat had been studying the United Nations since around the time it was formed. I was trapped in that inside seat and that was the beginning of U.N. 101. When class was over I had come to believe that the United Nations was and always had been a Socialist/Communist organization and it's goal was total world domination. That is the way I feel to this day.

Now it seems like every year there are periods of time that I get e-mail after e-mail from several grassroots organizations asking me to contact my Senators and urge them to oppose the ratification of the United Nations Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST). Now the Bush administration is pushing for it's ratification again. If you have never heard of LOST I'd suggest you read, C:\DocumentsandSettings\Owner\Desktop\GetUSout!oftheUnitedNations.htm . Those of you that have heard of it might want to read that too, it is a fine article. Or you can type LOST into your search engine for hours of interesting reading.

If it is ratified LOST will give the United Nations control of seven-tenths of the earths surface. That would give the UN jurisdiction of United States territorial waters. The United Nations would regulate and tax all commercial use of the high seas. The idea of paying a tax to an organization that is opposed to the United States protecting it's shores from attack should be reason enough to oppose LOST. Please contact your Senators and urge them to oppose the ratification of LOST.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
