Identity Theft

I was just reading the Saint Joseph, Missouri City Managers weekly report when I found something that should be interesting to people inside and outside the Saint Joseph area, Identity Theft. Saint Joseph's Network Administrator has written an article on identity theft, he offers some common sense measures you can take to protect yourself from becoming a victim. I find it interesting that someone from the city would do this because anytime you are pulled over by law enforcement in this area your Social Security number, your name and address are all broadcast over the police radio. Anyone with a scanner can get this information.
