Welcome Home Lance Cpl. Kurt E. LaPlant
Several members of my family including myself wear POW/MIA Bracelets and look forward to the day we can say there is no longer a need to do so. That day will not come until each and everyone of our POW/MIA's are accounted for. The LaPlant family's questions have been answered. "The LaPlant family’s emotions are mixed. Without a body, Richard LaPlant had a hard time giving up hope that his brother was alive.“You always thought he was over there hiding away all the time,” he said. For a few years, he entertained the thought that Kurt survived the crash and became a prisoner of war nobody knew about." (Continue Reading) They now have their closure. We are sorry to hear of their loss, they will be in our thoughts and prayers. There are still many questions to be answered. We will continue to pray for the others that are still missing and wait for the day we can welcome them home.
