On Line Freedom Of Speech Act

There is still work to be done to protect your blog site from the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA). I have mentioned the BCRA and suggested you take action against it in some previous postings, Good News From The Hill, 3/25/05, Protect Your Blog Site, 3/22/05, and Bloggers Could Be Gagged or Fined, 3/10/05. Now I would like to urge you to contact your elected officials in D.C. because legislation is pending in Congress to exempt the Internet from campaign finance regulations. The mainstream media is already exempt, but you are not. NYTimes.com is exempt, but non-media blogs, websites, and emails are not. Please click on the link below to ask Congress to pass this legislation to restore your personal "freedom of the press" on the Internet, and to put you back on the same legal ground as the major media.
