Jury Duty

I got one of those notices in the mail the other day. The kind that tells you that you might be needed in the near future. I guess I better re-read one of my favorite little books. I have a copy that will fit into your shirt pocket. I think one of the most important books you could ever read is 'The Citizens Rule Book, Jury Handbook'. Anyone getting ready for jury duty needs to study it.

I think it is important for everyone who is going to serve on jury duty to know their rights as well as the accused.

Many judges think that they make all the decisions without regard to anyone else's rights.

Best of luck on this.

The jurors rights are explained in The Citizens Rule Book, Jury Handbook. Anyone being interviewed for jury duty is misinformed about their rights during the interview.

Okliberal, I've been called in several times and I do feel it's an honor. I've never been selected to serve. Maybe they've found out I read the Handbook.

The Jury must pay close attention to the evidence and witnesses.
