Question Of The Week, 11/4/07

Good morning. I hope you all got your time/clocks changed with no problems. I'm still working on it. We will be moving into a different house soon. We will get the keys sometime Monday. I hope the move doesn't have a bad effect on getting things posted on time here. I hope to get the computer moved and back up soon.

If your a fan of old gangster movies as soon as you hear the Fifth Amendment mentioned you will probably think of not having to testify against yourself. There is a lot more to it than that.

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

This weeks Question Of The Week is. Is there any part of the Fifth Amendment that is forgotten about, ignored, attacked, or infringed upon (By our elected officials) more than the rest?

I'll post my answer in the Comment Section Monday night.

God Bless America, God Save The Republic.
